Operafrø is a baby opera through four seasons with Vivaldi as a guide.

Operafrø is created for the very youngest children, by and with Teater Fot in collaboration with seeds and trees in Ringve Botanical Garden through winter, spring, summer, and autumn. Together with opera singers Ola Marius Ryan and Lars Eggen, percussionist Tor Haugerud, visual artist Amalia Fonfara, and costume designer Berit Haltvik With, Lise Hovik and Teater Fot have created a beautiful and sensual experience, especially adapted for babies, new parents, and grandparents. With rippling rhythms and big and warm opera voices, famous melodic stanzas from Vivaldi are sung, babbled, and babbled. In the meeting between the big voice, the little child, and the seed, we examine the relationship between art and nature; how song shapes the togetherness and the responsive contact between all living things through the seasons in the garden: seeds, sprouts, flowers, scents, trees, leaves, fruit, and nuts.
