Qooqu - Little bird, is a visually poetic journey to the artist's childhood village, Aappilattoq in South Greenland. We meet Danish-Greenlandic John Angajoq Nattoralissuaq, who talks about his connection to ancestors, tradition, and the world of Spirit. Here, life and death, along with the relationship between nature, humans, and animals, are completely interconnected.

Based on the artist's biographical background, she seeks to look deeper into a complex discussion about the relationship between identity, ethnicity, and cultural heritage. A discussion that may well arise in imperialist interests in early colonialism, but which can also be seen in the light of a geopolitical situation today.
